About Tim MacCaw Tim developed a keen interest in positive healing techniques from teenage years when he and his mother attended the first Silva Mind Control courses in London. His mother, Juliet MacCaw, was a gifted and well known Radionics practitioner who built up a large healing practice across the country.
Although Tim subsequently became a solicitor in London, after 30 years with The Gillette Company he retired to return to his passion - alternative healing.
He first qualified as a VHT practitioner. VHT is a method of Bowen body therapy developed by Bowen instructors who wanted to add more moves into the therapy, and remove the pauses, that standard Bowen teaches. It uses a series of specific sequences of moves over muscles, tendons & nerves to trigger a self healing response in the body. VHT is often very effective in bringing fast relief from pain and tension from whatever cause.
Tim was then introduced by his homeopath to the QX biofeedback device and acquired his own QX machine. The QX machine tests the body's electro-magnetic parameters, helping the therapist to pinpoint the reasons for any stress, allergies, vitamin-and-mineral deficiencies, viral and bacterial infections, parasites and even adverse moods and emotions. With this and his interest in nutrition and using VHT Tim started practicing in Somerset from The Manor House, Stoke Trister, Wincanton.
The QX device has a powerful Homeopathics programme, and in time Tim’s learning and practice of Homeopathics, Flower Essences and Herbal tinctures, together with Nutrition, has deepened and become more and more his principal expertise.
