RAILWAY: Gillingham (12 mins) South West trains to London Waterloo. Castle Cary (15 minutes) Great Western trains to London Paddington
DIRECTIONS
From East: Turn off A303 beyond Mere on brow of hill signposted A3081 to Gillingham, Bruton, Stoke Trister. Take first Right turn and then first Left turn, signposted Stoke Trister (just before passing under the A303). After 1.5 miles at next T junction turn left in Stoke Trister village and immediately left again at triangle of grass and green plastic council sand bin beside a crab apple tree. Drive 50 yards past a 'No Through Road' sign and the courtyard is on your right.
From West: Turn off A303 beyond Wincanton on brow of hill signposted A3081 to Gillingham, Bruton, Stoke Trister. Take first Left turn and then next Left turn (passing under A303), and immediately afterwards take Right turn signposted Stoke Trister. At next T junction turn left in village and immediately left again at grass triangle and green plastic council sand bin beside a Crab Apple tree. (Sadly the red phone box has gone). Drive 50 yards past a 'No Through Road' sign and the courtyard is on your right
