Cottage Rentals

The cottages are available to rent for workshops or holidays (see menu -local places to visit)

The Lower Cottage is not available for holiday rental during the high season (Easter through to mid September).

The Upper Cottage is available for holiday rentals all year round.

The local tennis club at Wincanton is only 4 minutes drive cross county. Bookings for the tennis courts are at Myakka (a large furniture store), in Wincanton at the bottom of the one-way system 2 minutes from the club. Tel:0845 460 3122 Monday - Saturday 9am-5.30pm Please bring tennis rackets and balls.

Directions to the Tennis Courts. As you leave the Manor Dive turn left down the hill. Take the first right 'Shaftsbury Road'. T-Junction at the end turn left. T-Junction turn right. Club is in Wincanton Sports Ground 400yds down on the right. Directions to Myakka to book a court. Continue on past the club to the end of the road, cross over the next junction (tricky as one way system coming down the hill to your right) and ahead to the left you will see Myakka set back in and industrial estate on the left with parking.

Prices for Holiday Rentals

Per cottage for one week £364 - £650 depending upon low or high season. For bookings less than 7 nights please contact Vale Centre as above. Oil fired central heating. Oil & electricity is included in July - August, otherwise at cost.

Refund Policy

For accommodation in the cottages 100% up to two months before the first day, 50% up to one month before, 0% after this date.

and new kitchen with breakfast bar/island. Two bedrooms both with twin beds, one pair being adjacent, and chest of drawers in each. First bedroom also has hanging cupboard. Shower room with wc, basin and washing machine. Laundry cupboard. Sitting out area on decking with beautiful views looking out across the valley. (The interior rooms are all on one level)

Services: Elec and oil fired boiler for underfloor heating inc in rent July - August, otherwise at cost. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Auto Bosch washing machine. In kitchen area: microwave, Bosch oven, halogen hob, fridge/freezer, slimline dishwasher. Colour TV - Chs 1 - 4 only - Video and DVD. Parking in courtyard near the property. Pets by arrangement only. Entrance into spacious Hall with dining table leading to kitchen with understairs wc/basin, and to lounge with French windows. One bedroom on ground floor with two single beds and chest of drawers. Short corridor to Utility room and separate bathroom with wc, basin and laundry cupboard. From Entrance Hall up staircase to first floor Master Bedroom with valley view and superkingsize orthopaedic double bed (or unzipped to make two twin beds) with ensuite shower, wc, basin and hanging cupboard. Sitting out area on South side of the Upper Cottage. (The ground floor rooms of the Upper Cottage are on different levels - one or two steps).
