Accommodation for Workshops/Retreats in the two Vale Cottages on site

Accommodation is in the two cottages sleeping 10 comfortably on site. We can also offer en-suite and single room accommodation but both are limited on site and the availability does depend on the overall numbers. However I’m happy to fix up accommodation nearby, or to send a B&B list. The village, all on foot from the Centre, offers us wonderful extended hospitality for another 20 guests or so.

Booking Accommodation Guests can either book accommodation direct by emailing info@valecentre.co.uk or telephone Vale Centre: 01963 33360. For the Booking Forms please see the menu in 'Vale Healing'. Prices £32.50 for a night. There is a £5.00 reduction off the total price if guests bring their own linen. 25% non-refundable deposit on booking, balance to pay 1 month before.

Details of Accommodation On Site

On departure please leave cottage surfaces clean, bins emptied, windows closed (NB the Upper Cottage has two skylights) and keys on the inside of the doors.

The Cottages are none smoking

Upper Cottage

4 guests, with two in the Hayloft which has a Super King orthopaedic double bed (or unzipped to make twin beds) and is en-suite, and two sharing a twin-bedded room downstairs with a corridor to the bathroom and another loo leads off from the kitchen. A second shower is available in Vale Centre. There is also a utility room, useful for dogs (by arrangement) The Hayloft with the addition of a single bed is also suitable for two single guests.

Lower Cottage 4 guests using one loo and shower, but 2 loos and a shower are also available in Vale Centre.

We also offer a taxi service to Gillingham (10 min, London Waterloo) and Castle Cary (20 min, London Paddington) and Wincanton for the Berry Coaches from Hammersmith, London. £5.00 for the turn around
