Vale Centre and Vale Cottages

A stunning location in the heart of the Wessex Countryside but within easy access of London (just 2hrs west by rail or road).

The Vale Centre has a peace and tranquility - oodles of it. It has an aura of being a special, secret magical place - a Camelot!

Courtyard of The Manor House, Stoke Trister, Wincanton, Somerset BA9 9PH On the borders of 3 Counties: Somerset, Wiltshire and Dorset

Located in the tiny hamlet of Stoke Trister, half way between Stonehenge and Glastonbury and within easy reach of the glorious house and gardens of Stourhead and the many historical and sacred sites of the South West.

The Cottages, the Studios and a large Seminar room

are available to hire individually by the hour or to book the whole site to have a very private retreat

in this beautiful setting. The self catering cottages are also available for

holiday lets

and brilliant for families as there is so much outdoor space, (70 acres of woods and fields to run wild in!). We can accommodate workshops for around 50 guests with accommodation both on site (2 self-catering cottages) and in the surrounding villages (mainly B & B). The village, Stoke Trister, is just 2 minutes from the Centre on foot. Alternatively we can accommodate 23 guests all on site. There is plenty of flexibility so please do be in touch. Full board is also available on request.

There is no 'WiFi' on site,

(except with the use of a Dongle') and the use of mobiles is restricted because of the valley location. In order to keep the energy 'clean' we have even gone to the trouble of moving telegraph poles away from the Court Yard buildings to limit 'electromagnetic pollution'. Electromagnetic sensitivity is a new and growing health issue so we are keen to keep the Centre free from 'electromagnetic smog'.

For local therapists we can offer the use of 4 studios. Please see the menu for prices.

“I have run various workshops and the Satvik Training School for the last 5 years at the Vale Centre. What a superb venue. Participants adore the space, peace and tranquility offered by the venue. Many people return again and again to experience the beauty and stillness that the venue offers – a real treat! Booking is easy and flexible and the facilities always beautiful when we arrive”.
